INTRODUCTION
Service Model Optimization Suite is a simulation-based
software that helps in building a computer representation of
a system and test a variety of scenarios to find the one that’s
best suited.
 Animation and graphical output reports are powerful tools
for visualizing and understanding the behavior of any given
system.
The entire service business revolves around the design of
company systems. However, one is often faced with questions
about the effectiveness of those systems that take time and
money to answer.
Concerns like these could be answered through costly trial
and error or they could be visualized in advance, through
ServiceModel’s animated user interface and dynamic VAO
methodology.
VAO METHODOLOGY
STEP 1  Creates a dynamic, animated computer model of one’s service business environment from CAD files,
process or value stream maps, or Process Simulator models. Clearly see and understand current
processes and policies in action.

STEP 2 Brainstorm using the model to identify potential changes and develop scenarios to test improvements
which will achieve business objectives. Run scenarios independently of each other and compare their
results in the Output Viewer developed through the latest Microsoft WPF technology. Easily perform Six
Sigma Analysis with ServiceModel’s integration to Minitab.

 Determine the most effective course of action for the enterprise by optimizing the performance of
STEP 3
systems based on the analyses conducted in step 2.
It determines optimum answers to issues such as:
 Capacity of service
 Customer service times
 Staffing and employee productivity
 Vehicle and courier schedules
 Facility design – determine the appropriate number of service windows,
bays or parking spaces you need?
 Resource requirements.
Service Model Features-
Service Model software features allow you to:

Conduct Quick-start modeling with a convenient interface

Develop multiple risk free "what if" scenarios independently of each other
Import and analyze data in Microsoft Excel 2010® format
Complete Six Sigma Analysis with integration to Minitab®
Automatically create output reports developed in the latest Microsoft WPF Technology
Obtain accurate object-oriented results for your entire system
Capture system randomness and variability utilizing over 20 statistical-distribution types.
Online help and calendars defining shifts and time off are also available.

The following tools and services are included with ServiceModel software to maximize success:
Sim Runner
Stat:Fit-Statistics Package
Three day introductory classes
One year free technical support and product upgrades.
Priority on consulting and training services.
Special discounts
24/7 technical support
Access to the ProModel "Solutions café
Customized user interface with table inputs
Custom-designed parameter screens
Automatic model creation from external data sources
(e.g. Excel spreadsheets, databases, or text files)
Software execution from another application
It's easy-to-use and easy-to-implement for faster and better results. It has power to change the future.
The Service Model Advantage:

Service Model software allows you to:

Prove ideas before implementing them.
Quickly evaluate alternatives without disrupting the system.
Justify capital investments.
Better process design.
Streamline operating procedures.
Communicate ideas graphically.

Service Model is successfully used by leading companies, including American Express,

Disneyland, Manhattan Bank, Jet Blue, Social Security administration, and many more.
The software was successfully used by the Salt Lake 2002 Organizing Committee to
evaluate and successfully optimize spectator flow, emergency planning and
transportation systems for the Olympic games.

ServiceModel allows you to replicate your current system or plan a new system in a risk
free computer environment and to visualize its real-life behavior with all the variability
and interdependencies of actual service systems. Analytical output reports such as
graphs, plots and histograms, are automatically generated so that your ideas can be
evaluated with objective, statistical methods, long before money and time are spent in
implementation.
