Invalid or Voidable. Is there a ground for annulment. Explain
your answer. (10 pts each)
 
1. George and Elizabeth were married in the parish church.
Elizabeth hid her pregnancy, but eight months after the
wedding she gave birth to a child certainly not the child of
George since he had been away in another country for a
whole year before the wedding.

2. Melanie had been misconducting herself badly. She had
already eloped with a couple of men. Her father was
determined to put a stop to this and he arranged a marriage
with a decent man for his daughter. Melanie told her friends
that she had to go through with the wedding but she would
not stay with her husband. In fact, after the wedding Melanie
ran away.

 3. Joseph and Sophia were married in the church. They have been
engaged for a long time but as the wedding approach he began to have
doubts about Sophia’s suitability as wife. He expressed his doubts to his
friend and thought that he could file for annulment if in case things will
not turn out well. Their marriage was a very unhappy one for Sophia
especially when Joseph told her about his doubts before their wedding.
Sophia wants to file for annulment.
 
4.Thomas and Liza were married in a civil rite. Some months before the
wedding took place Thomas had been sterilized by double vasectomy.
Liza did not know about it. It was only after a few months when Liza
discovered about it. Liza wanted to file for separation and get married
with another man in a church ceremony
