• The social function of these expressions is to show cause and effect
relationship.
• The cause and effect sentence is also called the causal sentence or
the causality sentence is a sentence that is built by involving the
action that makes something happen and the result of action.
Structure of the expresions is a follows:
• The word “cause” means “a reason for an action or condition” or
“something tht brings about an effect or a result”
• The word “effect means something that inevitably follows an
antecedent (such as a cause or agent)
• Below are some examples of “cause and effect” relationship :
