One fine morning, Donny goes to school.

His teacher in Arts asks for a representative

and he is the chosen student that will
participate in the upcoming Creative Art
Month.

 While he is on the way to his house, he
can’t stop thinking about the said event
because he is not confident in his skills. He
is worried that if he fails, everybody may get
disappointed.

The moment he reached the house, his
father welcomes him with a great smile,
saying “How’s your day son?” He simply
smiles and did not say any words.

 While Donny is putting down his stuff, his
father goes back to his canvass and continues
painting. Donny is curious about what his
father is doing. He silently watches and
observes his father while painting. He was
amazed by the painting and he can’t believe
that his father is such a good artist.

His father noticed that Donny is watching
and seems to be worried so he asked his son
“Do you have any problem?” Donny started to
tell his father about the said contest. They had
a very sincere conversation.

 Donny started to feel okay when he finally
talked to his father. His father made a promise
that he will teach him tomorrow morning to be
prepared for the said contest. Donny will sleep
well to get energy for the training tomorrow
with his father.

The contest begins and Donny started to
paint while his father continued cheering him
up. After the contest, Donny is confident that
he will win because his father is there who
cheered and taught him in painting. Donny
won first place in the contest. He was very
happy and cried with tears. He finally fulfilled
his dream of winning and become a good

 A while ago, when they got home...

After Donny won First Place in the contest

he joined. His father told him that he had a
surprise for him. When he found out that, they
will go out of town for a short vacation and
simple celebration for his victory. There was so
much pleasure in Donny's eyes and lips.

 And he quickly went to his room to prepare While Donny and his father were on the trip,
the things he would take on their vacation. he tells a story that he remembered his
wonderful experiences in creating an art when
he was young before.

 While Donny and his father were on a trip
and their story was getting longer, Donny
noticed the beautiful shape of the mountain, he
quickly told his father to stop the car because it
is the first time he had seen a beautiful mountain
and he took a picture of it as well.

When they arrived at their rented rest house,
Donny still did not forget the beautiful mountain,
he had seen and he kept telling his father about it.
"You are so amazed at what you see my son, we
are here to celebrate your victory. Come on and
let's eat first" Donny's father said.

 After they're eating, Donny's father said that
he wanted to take a rest first because he was
tired from their trip and Donny replied: "Okay
Daddy! Take a rest first and I will stay here for a
while".

While Donny is in his room he thought that
he can make a canvas the mountain he was taken
lately. And when he was painted the mountain
that was so remarkable to him, Donny suddenly
frowned because he did not imitate the mountain
in the picture. And suddenly he asked, "Why art
is not a nature?".

 In the next day, when they got home from
their short vacation……
And his father was behind him and heard his question
and answered it by "The difference between art and
nature is the process of how they were made and who
creates them. Art is not a nature simply because art is a
man-made or created by someone and a way of
expression of the people. Nature, on the other hand, is
created by God and a natural occurrence. Art does not
naturally occurred because it was created by man on
hand and hand. Also, numerous artist inspired their
works in our nature.

questions in Donny's mind that he really wanted Art’s Museum with his Dad. For him to get a

you want to go to a museum with me? Just to get

At the bus stop....

Donny and his father leave the house to go in
Art Museum...
While waiting for the bus, they still talk about the
arts., “Dad, can I ask you a question?” Donny seems
curious about this matter. “Oh, sure my son, what’s
that? The father said. “What is Art Museum? The
father answered his question “An art museum is
a museum that specializes in works of art ranging from
paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, and
others, which are separated into different smaller
spaces called galleries.

 And when the bus arrived, they got in quickly
to reach their destination....
While they were outside of the museum, the
little boy who is curious about everything was
very excited to get in there. Because this was also
the first time he had been there. “Daddy, I’m so
happy now because you brought me here. Thank
you!” Donny said to his father. “You’re always
welcome, my son.” He replied.

When they get in, Donny was amazed at
the paintings he saw in the museum, that he
had really become interested in art. Because it
was so beautiful, he asked his father, “How
long the paintings have been around?” His
father replied that the paintings had been made
for a long time ago.

As they stare at the painting, they realize that no matter
how long a painting is, its beauty does not fade. Donny’s
father asked him “My son, do you know why art is ageless
and timeless? It is because art is can be seen everywhere you
go. It depicts scenarios and messages of every generation. Art
is ageless and timeless because no matter how old a
particular art piece is, we still can relate to it despite our
differences in perceiving it. The ideas and emotions still exist
and always be there as if we were living in that era. Aside
from that, art is not like any other clothes, cell phones, or
makeup that go out of fashion. Art itself always never goes
out of style.

 Donny and his father just got home from a
trip to the Art Museum. Donny enjoyed
visiting the museum because he learned a lot
about arts from his father.

While resting, Donny and his father talk about

really happy that you invited me to go to an Art
Museum. I really enjoyed seeing different kinds of
arts and I am excited to make my own art to be
displayed in an Art Museum.” Donny said. “It is
nice to hear it from you, Donny” his father replied.

Donny is making a painting and his father and
son saw it. “Whoah! Your artwork is really amazing
Dad.” Timmy was amazed to see his Father’s
artwork. “Donny, as you practice painting more
often, I can see improvements in your skills. I am
really proud of you.” His father said.

 “Timmy, would you like to make an art with
me?” Donny asked. “I don’t know how to make
an art Dad” Timmy replied. “Don’t worry
Timmy, I will teach you how to make one.”

Donny and Timmy are painting. “Dad, I hope
that I can also paint like how you did!” Timmy was
envious of his father’s artwork. “Art is not as
simple as making it perfect on your first try, you
need to experience failure in order for you to
experience success.”

 After they finish painting, Donny asked
Timmy. “Timmy, would you like to come with
me to the Museum for you to know more about
the arts?”. “You will learn about how artworks
are enhanced through experience,” Donny said.
“Yes, Dad, I want to know more about arts!”.

A few hours later, Donny and Timmy
arrived at the Art Museum. While they were
outside the Museum, Timmy was nervous but
excited at the same time. He wondered what
kind of artworks are there in the Art Museum.

When they enter in the Art Museum, his son
Timmy feels amazed about what he sees in the
museum. Donny stares at his own artwork
displayed in the museum and he introduces it to
his son. “Donny, this is my first artwork that has
been displayed in this museum. Before I make
that artwork, I made a lot of mistakes, but through
that mistake, I learned a lot about it and enhance
my skills in painting.”

The time passed by and Donny got a License in teaching
and he became an Art Professor. He is advising his students
that Arts involves experience. Most of artists like me used
their experiences in order to create a masterpiece. It became
their motivation and inspiration to form an art. Furthermore,
art is like a film of various human experiences which depicts
the past events and prediction of the future. It has a story
behind every art that they want to tell and show to people
through the use of their creativity. So as a beginner, you
must not be envious of other artwork, but instead be
motivated to improve your skills.
