It is famous for its artwork, timeless classical music, stunning architecture, food and fashion. It is also home to breath taking natural beauty, from the lakes and mountains in the north to the gorgeous stretches of coastline on either side of the country. Best time to visit Italy • The best time to go to Italy will be different depending on what you want to do or see. If you want to see snowy mountains in the dolomites or go skiing. Obviously you’ll want to go in the winter. • If you want to spend most of your time on the beach, you’ll want to go in the summer. • Summer in Italy can be hot, humid, and really crowded. So if you want to see big cities, its best to go during shoulder season(April-May or September-October). • The best time of the year to visit Italy is probably May or September . Day 1: Arrival in Rome • Arrival from Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. • Flight: • Check-in in Best Western hotel that offers elegant rooms with free wi-fi, A satellite LCD TV, and a coffee maker. • It is located 11.9 Km from Palalottomatica and 13.3 km from the Museum of Roman Civilization. • Relax for the day. Day 2: Sightseeing in Rome • Morning get ready at 8:oo am and proceed for sightseeing. • Visit to Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Borghese art gallery, Piazza Navona, and a tour of the Vatican. • Have dinner in the Trastevere neighborhood. Visit Pompeii in transit between Rome and Sorrento. • Have a short sightseeing in Pompeii. • Take a train to Sorrento. • Check-in in Hotel Klein Wien. • Have dinner and try the Limoncella. • Relax. Day 4: Exploring Sorrento
• Start your day with heavy breakfast in the hotel.
• Visit to two harbors: Marina Grande and Marina Picolla which has boardwalk atmosphere, lined by seafood restaurants. • Later visit Cloister of San Francesco which is a monastery dedicated to St. Francis. • Sorrento is known for its fresh seafood, Gnocchi and lemons. Have lunch and along the way stop by to admire the Sorrento Cathedral. • Sorrento is also well known for its sunset. Enjoy the sunset in the evening, have dinner and then go to bed. Day 5: Capri • Get up early and have breakfast as usual. • Sail by boat to Capri which is just 20 minutes away from Sorrento. • Take a boat tour around the island, enjoy the breath-taking view from mount Solara , and relax enjoying the beautiful view. Day 6: Amalfi Coast • From Sorrento take a day trip to Amalfi Coast. • Along the way visit towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. • Go for Kayaking in Positano and enjoy the cool refreshing water. • Take a boat tour into the Grota Dello Smeralddo. • Return back to the hotel in Sorrento. Day 7: Sorrento to Florence • Spend the morning traveling from Sorrento to Florence by Train. • Check-in in Hotel Bijou and take some rest. • In the afternoon have lunch. • Have a visit to Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Piazza Duomo, Uffizi Palace and gallery. • Have Dinner and go to bed. Florence Day 8: Tuscany • Early morning have a heavy breakfast and leave for sightseeing. • Visit Pisa which is known throughout the world for its leaning tower, Lucca which is a complete city wall. • Have breakfast in the nearby restaurant. • Later visit Island of Elba and Siena. • Back to the hotel.
