Measurement as the standard or system used in

stating the size, quantity or degree of something.
With the help of measurement we can easily describe
students achievement by telling their scores
 Evaluation

> Evaluation is defined as the process of determining the extent to

which educational objectives or values are achieved by the students.
 Evaluation refers to the value judgment made about the
phenomenon (teaching learning process) taking into consideration
the quantitative information and qualitative information collected
over a particular period of time. These information are properly
collected and carefully analyzed before making any judgment on
her or his learning status/progress.
 > It tells about the achievement or progress of the students. It helps
in growth of them. It includes all these changes or modification
which are helpful in the development of a balanced personality.
 > Evaluation=Quantitative+Qualitative+value judgment(learning
process or status)
