Dalian University of Foreign Languages
Founded in 1964, Dalian University of Foreign Languages offers a
doctoral program for high-end talents in Northeast Asian diplomacy
and foreign affairs, 2 academic degree programs (master) of first-level
disciplines (foreign languages & literature; Chinese language &
literature), 17 academic degree programs (master) of second-level
disciplines and 5 professional degree programs (master), and has

Colorful Events for International Students
Chinese and Foreign Students The party will showcase a variety of programs such as songs and dances,
crosstalk, martial arts, and skits, which are rehearsed by Chinese and foreign
New Year Party students. As one of the most anticipated events by the students, it integrates
different elements, classical and modern, romantic and passionate.
International It has attracted students from nearly 30 countries and regions, including China, Russia, France,
Japan, Cameroon, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Cambodia, Italy, Armenia,
Cultural Festival Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tunisia and Pakistan, and they have participated in the festival actively. The
cultures of different countries harmonize with each other, presenting a unique cultural feast.
Contests Since 2018, 161 international students have won prizes in various contests at all levels, including 24
national contests, 48 provincial contests and 38 municipal contests.
International Student Enrolment
Currently, the majors that appeal to international students include Chinese Language
(Regional Studies), Chinese Language (International Trade), Chinese International
Education, etc. The non-Chinese majors include Financial Management, Finance,
International Economics and Trade, Tourism Management, International Affairs and
International Relations, and MTI.
