corporate social responsibility (CSR) rules on Friday to
allow companies to undertake multi-year projects and to
shift the focus on impact assessment from expenditure
alone.
The move was aimed at improving the ease of doing
business and the quality of CSR projects while enhancing
disclosures and transparency under the new framework,
said a government official.
