Factual recount

• Orientation :
In 1854, Louis pasteur was appointed professor of chemistry at the
Universitas of Lille. He demonstrated that an organism such as bacteria was
responsible for souring wine, beer and even milk. He then invented a process
where bacteria could be removed by voiling and then cooling the liquid.
Today the process is known as pasteurization. He completed the first test on
20 th April 1862.
• Events :
In 1865, Pasteur helped to save the silk industry. He proved that microbes
were attacking healthy silkworm eggs, causing diseases and the desease can
be cured by eliminating the microbes.
• Reorientation :
Pasteur’s first vaccine discovery was in 1879, with a disease called chicken
to the attenuated form, he demonstrated that they became resistant to the
actual virus. Pasteur went on to extend his germ theory to develop prototype
of vaccine for deseases such as anthrax, cholera, TB, and smallpox.
 Personal recount
• Orientation :
Last weekend, I visited my pen pal’s house. His name is Lita. There
were many activities I did there. In the morning, Lita and I had
breakfast. We had traditional food. I liked it very much.
• Events :
After breakfast, he took me to the garden behind his house. The
garden was very big and beautiful. There is a big bird cage in the
garden. There were many kinds of birds in that cage. I spent a long
time feeding the birds. I also took pictures with those beautiful birds.
• Reoriention :
After visiting the bird cage, Lita and I went to the flower garden
not far from his house. We had lunch under a big tree and watched
butterflies flying above the colourful flowers. It was fun. I really
enjoyed my time with Lita.
 Imajinative recount
• Orientation :
Last year, my family and i moved to a new house. We moved because
our old house was far from my father’s office and located in a crowded
neighbourhood.
• Events :
Our new house is nicer and bigger than the old one. There are several
rooms to work in, like a spacious living room, three bedrooms, two
bathrooms, a dining room and a modern kitchen which i like the most.
There is also backyard where my father built a gazebo.
The house is located in a good neighbours. The most important thing
is it is not noisy with vehicless’ horns and engines. The air is still fresh.
Furthermore, there is also a shopping centre just down the street with
a minimarket, quite good restaurants and stores. My mother usually shops
there every weekend.

In short, we really enjoy living here.
