The picture shows a cracked part of the farm, the living organisms or the plants have died or currently
not that great looking compared to the other part of the picture which is more greener and the plants are
more lively. In reducing this, we must do “perennial plant cover” so that the soil and plants are protected
from excessive heat they received from the sun. We can also practice the process of “mulching” that
means adding a loose layer of shredded plant material on top of the soil. Lastly, the use of contour
farming that means the practice of tilling sloped land along lines of consistent elevation in order to conserve
rainwater and to reduce soil losses from surface erosion.
