WHAT IS EDUCATION?
WHAT IS TECHNICAL EDUCATION?

Definition: The education which provides specific practical knowledge of technology and skills is
called technical education.

Objectives:

TRAINING EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING AUTHORITY
(TEVTA)

TEVTA is an organization that is aimed to produce a


skillful workforce to boost the economy of Pakistan.
 Largest skillful provider in Pakistan
 Strong presence in every Tehsil and District of Punjab
 Conduct technical and practical trainings in different industrial
sectors
 Offer demand driven courses ranges from 3 years to 3 months
PUNJAB VOCATIONAL TRAINING COUNCIL (PVTC)

 Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) is largest


vocational training provider in Pakistan and have presence in all
Sub-Districts (Tehsils) of Punjab - Pakistan.
 It was established in October 1998.
 PVTC is a unique model of its kind in the entire Muslim World,
which utilizes Zakat as a tool of skills.
PUNJAB BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION (PBTE)

PBTE is a corporate body responsible to conduct


the examinations of technical, commerce &
vocational streams as well as the Short Courses
below degree level.
NATIONAL VOCATIONAL & TECHNICAL TRAINING COMMISSION
(NAVTTC)

National Vocational and Technical Training Commission


is a regulatory body for technical education and
vocational training in Pakistan.
The Commission is establishing and promoting linkages
among various stakeholders existing at national as well as
international level.
SANATZAR

Sanatzar Lahore provides a safe and learning


environment to help girls/women professional &
market based skills which ultimately help them to
be Financially independent and highly skilful
 It is affiliated with TEVTA
 It promotes students' works by exhibiting locally
and nationally.
KAMYAB JAWAN NATIONAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Kamyab Jawan Program 2021 was published on 16th


March 2021.
 Kamyab Jawan Scholarships 2021 offers different and
multiple courses for students to study.
 Selected students in this program would be paid, students
would learn their courses free, and after completing this
program, students would get a certificate.
CONCLUSION

 Not on a proper scale


 Lack of linkage between industry and institutes
 Companies are prefer to higher people with higher education on diploma holders
 Women’s participation is limited
 Shortage of specialized trainers
