SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS:

GOAL 4: ENSURE INCLUSIVE AND QUALITY
EDUCATION FOR ALL AND PROMOTE
LIFELONG LEARNING.
GOAL 5: ACHIEVE GENDER EQUALITY AND
EMPOWER ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS.
• For quality education - the legal framework for institutionalizing the
Alternative Learning System has been set. The Department of Education,
working with the private sector, has been reaching out to what we call the last
mile, which includes out-of-school youth and other vulnerable groups, to
deliver education services. ‘
• To ensure effectiveness of partnerships - the Philippines has been conducting
the Official Development Assistance Portfolio Review. Pursuing the SDGs
requires an ambitious approach that gets everyone behind the goal of leaving
no one behind. Involving the different stakeholders today in a very concrete
way will determine the attainment of the SDGs in the remaining 11 years, and
on to 2040.
• Help yourself to obtain as much necessary knowledge as u can
and help others who struggle with this to attain learning and
leaving no person behind.
• To compete in a highly interconnected, increasingly knowledge-
based, and technologically driven global economy, people must
continue to learn and adapt throughout their lives. Given this,
simply learning the fundamentals in school is not enough;
students also need to gain the capacity to analyze, think critically
and creatively, and solve problems.
• Republic Act No. 9710 An Act Providing For The Magna Carta Of
Women
• In the Philippines, efforts to make governance gender responsive
are promoted through legislation, such as the Magna Carta of
Women (MCW) which mandates non-discriminatory and pro-
gender equality and equity measures to enable women’s
participation in the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of
policies, plans, and programs for national, regional, and local
development.
• Know and fight for your rights!
• Start to appreciate everyone's personality.
• Boost your self confidence and help others
who are in need of this.
• As part of the Gen Z, use Internet and
technology to let others be aware of gender
equality and women empowerment.
