T/M Skip-shift control with K-Atomics
In driving up on steep road , if its control system determines (from
information of the accelerator pedal angle, change of the travel speed) that
downshifting one gear at a time is not required, it automatically skips to the
best gear speed. This function is called the skip shift control.
Example:
When the vehicle is driving at F4 on
flat road, then road changes to the steep
road, the control system judges that the
best gear speed is F1, it goes to F1
automatically, skipping F3 and F2.
Since the number of gear shifting times
is reduced, the riding feel is improved.
