 Planning
• Besides Esteban's bad mood, he had another problem, a great sexual
appetite. This led him to the cowardice of grabbing his employees and
raping them.
• We will implement this in the song, we want to focus on the abusive,
macho, homophobic, etc., which is Esteban Trueba.
• Phrases planned for the song: "Esteban abuses his sister and his wife,
he thinks he is superior but he is not a big deal."
RESEÑA DE CADA UNO DE NOSOTROS.
• Daniel Santiago Pinzón: It is a book that talks a lot about harassment, rape and machismo. On the other hand, it
seems an interesting story because of Clara's psychic powers and Clara's power to predict things thanks to her
powers, also how dramatic they put the story.
• Ana Sofia Cubillos: It is a book that reflects how ancient thinking was, I find it very interesting and it has many
twists in history that you do not expect. And I find it very entertaining to see the life of Blanca "Clara's daughter."
• Julio Cuadros: It is interesting how the book (the house of the spirits) deals with the different social problems of
Chile, what the government was like at that time, how women were treated, how someone could decay so easily
and how they can. Judging just by giving an opinion (which also happens today but to a lesser extent) I liked the
way the book is expressed since it very clearly gives us to understand how Esteban felt after Rosa's death since in
many literary works a character had not changed so much due to the death of another character, because it
shows that he really loved her very much and that she was everything to him. I also like that the next generations
(Esteban's children) do not follow the same path as their father since I like that other characters have their own
evolution.
• Paola Ramos: Isabel Allende's first novel, the house of the spirits narrates the saga of a powerful family of Latin
American landowners. The despotic patriarch Esteban Trueba has built, with an iron fist, a private empire that
begins to falter as a result of the passage of time and an explosive social environment. Finally, the personal
decline of the patriarch will drag the Trueba, and I really like suspense, the drama, the novel, very good.
