Why would this program
be a good fit for me?

I aspire to be a pediatrician for my future career,

and therefore will need a degree in a science.
During high school, my strongest subjects have
been in chemistry, which is why I would like to do
the combined major of chemistry and biology. The
biology aspect is because it will be the most useful
for my career and I also find this subject very
interesting. This program allows me to focus on my
interests and prepares me with the courses that I
need before medical school.

This totals to $9,952
For four years at UBCO it will be
approximately $39,808 for housing and meals
If I transfer to UBCV, therefore doing 1 year in
Kelowna and 3 years in Vancouver. It will cost
$9,952 for my time in Kelowna and $0 for my
time in Vancouver.
 Tuition: $5,617

Costs & Fees Student fees: $812.90

4 year total
For 4 years at UBC, it will cost $38,760 for everything other than
housing. This includes tuition, books/supplies, student fees, and all of
the additional costs in the slide above. This is a rough estimate of my
costs for the four years. Each year I will be paying around $9,700. If I
include residency and meals, then my yearly total will be about $20,000
