Tipu sultan was very brave . He was the ruler of Mysore . he defeated British four
Time . He took Chittoor from them and fought hard to keep Mysore . He destroyed
Crops and farm animals so that there would be no food for enemy armies . The he used
Rockets to beat British . Tipu Sultan nick name was tiger of Mysore . He was born in
20 November 1750 his father name was Hyder Ali and his mother name was Fatimah
Fakhr - un -nisa . Tipu Sultan fought against the British to keep Mysore's independence.

Hyder ali ruled the kingdom of mysore in the south of india from 1761 . He
fought hard to keep mysore from the british . He used rockets to help him to beat
them at the battle of pollilur .
The british only managed to beat him with the help of the nizam of Hyderabad .
Hyder ali died from illness in his tent at the battle of chittoor in 1782
