Aqaid

 To be a devotee of Islam, one is to

have faith first in some basic aspects of
Islam e.g. Allah, Prophets, Rasuls,
Angels, Akhirat etc.

What is Aqaid?

Aqaid means to have faith in these basic aspects of

Islam.
The word 'Aqaid' is plural, whereas 'Aqida' is singular
denoting belief or faith. Nobody can be a Muslim if
he/she does not have faith even in any of these aspects.
So, Aqaid becomes a principal basis of Islam.

What is Tawhid ?
The word ‘Tawhid' means- To believe in Allah as
the one and unique is called Tawhid.

He has no partner. He is self sufficient. He is the

Protector, Creator, Sustainer and Provider of foods. He is
endless and eternal, nobody or nothing is equivalent to
Him. He is the only Ma'bud .
z Significance of Tawhid

 Tawhid is the first and foremost aspect of Aqaid. It is

Tawhid through which human beings bring faith (iman)
and accept Islam. Believing in other aspects of Aqai'd have
to be followed by Tawhid. Belief in Tawhid is very
important for human beings.

Significance of Tawhid

 All the prophets and messengers came to this world

for guiding mankind. All of them invited mankind
towards Tawhid.

 Tawhid brings success for human beings in both the

wordily life and Akhirat.

 Belief in Tawhid makes a man dependent on Allah
