Statistics- the science of

choosing samples and collecting,
organizing, and interpreting data.

Data- is a numerical information

used in statistics.
 Three types of measure
OMean
OMedian
OMode
Mean - the average of a
group of numbers.
Median - the middle
number in a set of ordered
numbers.
Mode – the number in a
group, which occurs most
often.
 Bar Graph
 is a chart with rectangular bars with length
proportional to the values that they represent.
The bars can be plotted vertically or
horizontally.

 will have two axis. One axis describe the type

of categories being compared and the other
will have numerical values that represent the
values of data.
