1. Fold you sheet of paper in half and then in half again to make four equal parts
2. Then cut the four pieces
3. Fold one of the pieces in half and draw a line to divide each part. Then paint ½ of it.

we paint to have an equal proportion to ½?
5. The third piece of paper will be folded to make 8 equals parts. How many parts must we paint to
have an equal proportion to ½?
6. The fourth piece of paper will be folded to make 16 equal parts. How many parts must we paint
to have an equal proportion to ½?
