DEFINISI LUKISAN
• Lukisan adalah satu Teknik menggambar atau hasil kerja seni yang menggunakan media
kering atau warna yang paling minimum.
• Lukisan boleh menjadi hasil akhir dan boleh juga menjadi asas kepada penghasilan karya
seni lain seperti catan, cetakan , arca dan penghasilan komunikasi visual.

SEJARAH PERKEMBANGAN SENI LUKISAN

• Bermula sekitar 3000 hingga 4000 tahun.
• Menggunakan bahan semulajadi sebagai media untuk melukis contohnya hematit berwarna
merah yang dijumpai di Gua Tambun, Perak oleh masyarakat zaman Neolitik.
• Lukisan-lukisan yang banyak mempamerkan aktiviti masyarakat seperti memburu, bercucuk
tanam dan aktiviti yang tidak dikenalpasti.
• Menggunakan imej-imej figura, flora dan fauna.
• Diantara penemuan-penemuan lukisan yang lain dijumpai di Gua Kain Hitam, Niah di
Sarawak dan Gua Merapoh, Pahang.
