Photography camera modes

Automatic mode
Automatic modes basically does all the work for you and tries to guess the settings
you would like.
It chooses settings it thinks will work for the picture.
Portrait mode
When you use portrait mode it selects a bigger aperture which blurs the
background and has whatever you have as the subject in focus.
Macro mode
Macro mode is used to take pictures that are close up to whatever you are taking
a photo of.
Macro mode is best used with a tripod so the photo isnt blurry
Landscape mode
Landscape mode uses a small aperture to make as much of the photo in focus.
It is ideal for catching a large area in focus in a photo.
Sports mode
Sports mode is used to take pictures of moving objects such as people running or
cars driving.
Sport mode captures whatever the subject is doing and freezes it
Night mode
Night mode can be used to get cool shots at night hence the name night mode.
It uses a longer shutter speed and flash to capture a clear photo in the dark or at
night.
Aperture priority
It's basically a semiautomatic mode which you choose the aperture and the
camera picks the rest of the settings.
Shutter priority

With shutter priority you choose the shutter speed and the camera choose all the
other settings.
It can be good for taking pictures of people playing sports and doing other
activities.
Program mode
Its basically automatic mode but you pre program the camera with all the settings
you would like for the photo.
Manual mode
With manual mode you have full control over all of the setting for the picture.
Manual mode can be quite difficult to use because it can be complicated.
