Three Approaches to Aesthetics

1. It is a study of aesthetic concepts or the analysis of “Language of Criticism” in which


particular judgement are singled out and their logic and justification are presented.

2. It is a philosophical study of certain states of mind, responses and attitudes and emotions
that are involved in aesthetic experience.

3. It is the philosophical study of aesthetic object that reflects the view that problems of
aesthetics exist because the world contains special objects toward which people react
selectively as described in aesthetic terms.
