TO FAMILIARIZE OURSELVES WITH THE
TRAINING AREAS & AERODROME
TO EXAMINE THE EFFECTS OF OUR
ANCILLARY CONTROLS ON THE
FLIGHTPATH OF OUR AIRCRAFT
OBJECTIVES
1. Examine the effect of throttle and mixture
2. Understand that throttle is an ancillary control and consequently examine the
effect of airspeed, slipstream & power on the flightpath
3. Understand that flaps and trim are ancillary controls and consequently examine
their effects on the flightpath
4. Training area orientation and departure & rejoin procedures
