• Amul (“priceless” in Sanskrit). The brand name “Amul” from
the sanskrit “Amulya” which means “Precious”, formed in
1946, is a dairy cooperative in India.
• It is a brand name managed by apex cooperative
organisation, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing
Fedration Ltd. (GCMMF)
• GCMMF is the largest food products marketing organisation
in India.
Amul Dark Chocolate
• Amul Dark Chocolate is made with the finest ingredients and delicious cocoa. For a better texture,
the finest particle size (Sugar, Cocoa Solids, Cocoa Butter, Permitted Emulsifiers (E322, E476).
Contains Added Flavours (Artificial Flavouring Substances, Cocoa and Vanilla).
• Dark chocolate has lesser sugar levels when compared to milk chocolates. Hence they are a
healthy choice.
