PRAYER
REMOTIVATIONAL
THERAPY
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
For the residents:
At the end of the remotivational therapy, residents will be
able to know what are the different festivals held in Philippines,
apply socialization and have a self-confidence and self-esteem.
For the students:
At the end of the remotivational therapy, students will be
able to give the residents knowledge about different cultures in
many places and maintain the therapeutic communication.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
To the residents
Cognitive:
To remember each culture and beautiful festivals held in
every places
Affective:
To encourage every individual active involvement To stimulate
reality orientation
Psychomotor:
To develop their ability on communicating their thoughts and
experiences
To the students
Cognitive:
To discuss the different festival and location in
Philippines
Affective:
To gain trust and cooperation of the residents
Psychomotor:
To clarify instructions, objectives and goal of the
activities
MECHANICS OF REMOTIVATIONAL THERAPY

• • The residents will be escorted to the activity area by student


nurses
• • The facilitators will discuss what remotivational therapy is
and how it works
• • The facilitator will teach about the festivals in the Philippines
especially the Maskara Festival and explain the mechanics of
the therapy to the group
• • The residents will recognize some festival in the Philippines
• • After the therapy, the facilitator will ask the residents about
their thoughts and feeling while doing the therapy
