Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Intensive outpatient treatment is the highest level of
outpatient care for substance use disorders. Some people start
with an IOP while others move to this lower level of care after
completing an inpatient program.
Inpatient treatment programs are recommended for severe
addictions, particularly those where the person can’t control
their use, are suicidal or have untreated mental illness. This
type of intensive care is offered in a hospital, clinic or
treatment setting, providing 24-hour support and monitoring
to ensure the health and safety of the individual. For more

Out Patient Program
Condor Life Services offers a standard outpatient
program (OP) that is a step down in intensity from our
intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP).

Outside Support
Although Condor Life Services has developed its own
unique program to assist those who are seeking help
and relief from a substance use disorder, we realize that
most people need additional support as they transition
to a more normal routine. For this reason, we urge our
clients to take advantage of the wealth of information
available to enhance their addiction recovery. For more

Veterans and Addiction Treatment
Every year, thousands of troops leave active duty service and return
home to their communities where they live as military veterans.
However, the demands of military service and the trauma
witnessed in combat doesn’t get left at the military base. Veterans
carry this pain and trauma with them, making them vulnerable to
mental illness and substance abuse. According to the
National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 1.5 million veterans aged
17 and older (or 6.6 percent of this population) have a substance
use disorder (SUD). Many of the people who struggle with
substance abuse do so because they have post-traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD). Almost
1 out of every 3 veterans seeking treatment for an SUD also has
PTSD.
Aftercare Treatment
We at CLS are invested in ensuring you are comfortable
with your progress as you ‘step down’ from our IOP, to
our outpatient program (OP), and beyond. WE offer
great flexibility when it comes to defining the term
Aftercare- it could be keeping your once a week, once
every two weeks, once a month, one hour session with
your Primary clinician once you have decided to
discontinue Group Sessions. It could also mean that you
choose to drop from three Group Sessions to one… or
something in between? We are here to work with you on
Aftercare steps to fit YOUR addiction recovery.
