Theorem I
The area of surface generated by revolving a plane curve about a non-intersecting axis in the plane of the curve is
equal to the length of the generating curve times the distance travelled by the centroid of the curve in the rotation.

Theorem II
The volume of the solid generated by revolving a plane area about a non-intersecting axis in the plane is equal to the
area of the generating plane times the distance travelled by the centroid of the plane area during the rotation.
