Introduction

 ‘Bus Reservation Management System’ is an system which helps to maintain the


day-to-day records and information for the bus transportation organizations.
 This system is basically concerned with providing details of bus tickets to the
passengers.
  Various transaction like storing, retrieving and updating  related to bus travel
information.
Motivation

 Lack of proper record keeping methods in current bus reservation system.


 Risks of losing the recorded data in paper works.
 Time consuming inquiring from offline stores.
 Lack of enough online ticket purchasing platform.
  Efficient information gathering, processing and proper use of record for more
success.
Objectives

 To know about route, departure time , arrival time, pickup point of different


buses assigned to a station.
 To know reservation status, reserved seats and remaining available seats
for booking from bus_id.
 To be able to know about schedules of different buses simply from their unique
bus_id along with their arrival time and departure time.
Scope

 Adding, Changing Information about passengers.


 Viewing information about tickets.
 Booking ticket
 Watching information about route, cost, time.

System Design
 It includes all the tables and data and deal with how they are managed inside the
database
Implementation
 Different tables are created for different necessities and data were filled based on
the required conditions.

 Reports like : e_id , e_name , address, gender, phone no, doj, salary  related to
employees working.
 Run queries on information related to bus like : owner, station, route, departure
and arrival time and status.
 Run queries and give information of reservation status with help of bus_id.
