ABSTRACT:

Traveling is a large growing business across all states. College Bus reservation system deals with maintenance of records of details of each passenger

or Students. It also includes maintenance of information like schedule and details of each bus. We observed the working of the college Bus reservation

system and after going through it, we get to know that there are many operations, which they have to do manually. It takes a lot of time and causing many

errors while data entry. Due to this, sometimes a lot of problems occur and they were facing many disputes with customers. To solve the above problem,

and further maintaining records of passenger or student details, seat availability, price per kilometer, bill generation and other things, we are offering this

proposal of computerized reservation system. By using this software, we can reserve bus from any part of the location, through telephone lines, via internet.

Student can check availability of bus and reserve selective seats. The project provides and checks all sorts of constraints so that user does give only useful

data and thus validation is done in an effective way. Data communication has become a fundamental part of computing and data networks. Python comes

with enhanced visual designers, increased application performance, and a powerful integrated development environment (IDE).With an improved integrated

development environment (IDE) and a significantly reduced startup time, offers fast, automatic formatting of code as you type, improved IntelliSense, an

enhanced object browser and XML designer, and much more. This project contained only one module. Its have all above details.

INTRODUCTION:

• Project is useful for students who are facing problems with the current manual work of bus pass registration and renewal. The students need to register by submitting their details

through online. The student can login with their username and password and then renewal can be performed. Project is created to provide timesaving, comfortable and safe services

for students. Due to the drawbacks that are present in the existing system, we got the idea of doing this project of generating the bus pass through online which can help students in

a better way. In the existing system student had to do each and every process manually, but our project helps student to make their work faster and easy. Students can buy the bus

pass through the internet. This system is also used to save the student’s time. In the manual system the user has to go on particular date and time if they fail then the renewal

cannot be done. This online bus pass registration application will help candidates to save their time and renewal bus pass without standing in a line for hours near counters. Initially

uses need to register with the application by submitting their details through online. The administrator will verify the candidate details and if they are satisfied they will approve bus

pass. The candidate can login with their username and password and renewal is performed. The renewal process is carried by paying the money using the credit card. Utilizing this

application we can check all points of interest related Bus pass and direction like how to renewal pass how to update it, and furthermore give subtle elements of understudy . This

application keeps all data of all Bus pass. This online Bus pass system will help students with getting bus passes on the web and take out the need to stand in a queue.

• This project aims to provide an effective solution for maintaining Bus pass information using a database. The system has two logins, one for user and other for admin. The system is

a web application for people to get Bus passes through online. This system was intended to develop an application to perform functionalities like accessing the basic information for

authentication and provide Bus pass to a particular person without placing him/her in a queue for a long time. The system is helpful as it reduces the paper work, time consumption

and makes the process of getting bus pass in simple and faster way. User can refill their account and extend the validity every time when the pass expires. Admin can view all users’

details and balance through its login. This system is helpful to people to get bus pass from anywhere and no need to worry about renewal of the Bus pass
EXISTING SYSTEM:
• In our country there is always a presence of problems regarding the buses related to ticketing method. The conductor will give the tickets to the passengers who
are all travelling in the bus .Based on the count and the amount given to the conductor, he/she will issue the tickets to the passengers. This will include many
papers for printing the tickets and the use of hand held machine also creates many problems.

• The passenger also has to carry the correct amount within during his/her travel. The conductor should also have the correct change when any passenger is not
having the correct amount. Sometimes some conductors will not give the correct change to the passenger. For example, when we travel from erode to Coimbatore
the charge for the ticket is only 59 rupees but when the passenger travelling in that bus gives the conductor an amount of 60 rupees. Then the conductor has to
give the passenger 1 rupee. Some conductors are giving the correct change to the passenger but many are not giving.

• To overcome the following disadvantages this system will help make a user friendly bus-ticketing system where the entire bus ticketing process will be automated.

• Drawbacks of Existing System:

 Not the user friendly.

 Fixed source and destination.

 Wastage of papers.

 Verification of the passengers cannot be done online. They have to first get themselves verified by visiting before using the system.

 It requires a large database and memory.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
• The bus Pass system projects that manage and provides various bus pas functionality. The project allows users to register on the bus pass website and interact
online to manage their account and bus pass related transactions. Nowadays, online booking system becomes more popular. Hence we can apply it in buses to
generate automatic fare collection and ticketing system. Our system gets the details of a person by just using the tag and the amount is debuted from it according
to the distance travelled by the passenger. According to the distance travelled by the passenger, the amount will be debuted from the passenger’s account. The
amount debuted and balance amount is shown to user. The main idea behind this project is to collect the fare automatically using the Internet in a cost efficient
manner. Internet allows objects to sensed and controlled remotely across existing network infrastructure.

The software system allows users to:

 Apply for a new bus pass.

 Renew their pass.

 The pass is available on monthly as well as quarterly basis.

• The system also consists of an admin login that allows the admin to:

 View various transactions.

 View passes application details.

 Manage user details.
