 ABSTRACT

• The bus pass management system is a web application for students, passengers.
And also the administrator.

• In the manual system the administrator can record the all bus passes in the
register book.

• The user has to go on particular date and time if they fail then registration
cannot be done.

• The bus pass management system helps to the candidates to save their time.
• The administrator can easily maintain the records of bus passes like passes done by
today, yesterday and last 7 days and total passes.
• Admin can easily add and manage the buses category.
• If the user facing any problem, he/she can directly contact the administrator by
submitting name, email and what is the problem.
• The administrator will verify the candidate details and if they are satisfied, they will
approve bus pass.
• The candidate can check the application status through the given pass number.
INTRODUCTION

• Bus Pass Management Project in Php is a web-based technology that will

manage the records of the pass which is issue by administrative and also help
to provide online bus pass to people who need to travel daily.
• Bus Pass Management System project is helpful to bus administrator by
reducing the paperwork, time consumption and makes the process of getting
bus passes as simple and fast.
• Bus Pass Management system uses PHP and MySQL databases. This is the
project which keeps records of the pass which is issue by the administrator.
 EXISTING SYSTEM

• In the existing system bus pass management carried out manually.

• In the manual system the administrator can record the all bus passes in the
register book.

• The person has to visit the counter and have to submit the details and then they
have to wait for approval.

• For each and every process there is time limit specified if the person fails to go
on time, then all the transactions will be cancelled.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM

• The proposed system overcomes the drawbacks in the existing system.

• The administrator can easily maintain the records of bus passes like passes
done by today, yesterday and last 7 days and total passes.

• Admin can easily add and manage the buses category.

• If the user can facing any problem, he/she directly contact the administrator.
• User can easily check the bus pass status through the given pass number.

1. ADMIN
• Dashboard: In this sections, admin can briefly view the total number of
categories and how many passes will be generated in one day, yesterdays and
the last seven’s days.
• Category: In this section, admin can manage the category (add/update).
• Passes: In this section, admin can manage pass(add/update/take print pass).
• Pages: In this section, admin can update about us and contact us pages.
• Enquiry: In this section, admin reads the inquiries which are sent by users.
• Reports: In this section admin can generate pass reports between two dates.
• Search: In this section, admin can search a particular pass bypass number.
2.USER

• Home Page: User can visit home page.

• View Pass: User can view his/her pass and take print with the help of their
Pass Number.
• About Us: User sees the details of .website administrator.
• Contact Us: User can contact with website administrator.

• Front End : HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

• Back End : PHP, MYSQL

 FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

• This project has a wide scope for future as the user’s requirement is always
going to be change.
• The technology which is famous today becomes outdated in very next day.
To keep abstract of technical improvements,
• the system is improved in further future development.
• This enhancement is done in an efficient and effective manner. We can thus
update online payment.
• Thus the project is extendable and can be developed in anytime with more
advanced features.
 CONCLUSION

• Bus Pass Management System is a real time project which is useful for the
users who are facing problems with the current manual work of bus pass
registration.
• This online bus pass registration application will help users save their time.
• bus passes without standing in a line for hours near counters.
• The main motive of the project is to provide safe, reliable, saving, efficient
and services for users.
