 INTRODUCTION:

 The main objective of the project to develop a wireless notice board that
displays notices.
 Notice boards are a common occurrence in variety of institutions which we
come across on a daily basis.
 EXISTING SYSTEM:
 Traditional notice board where, a person should add contents to the board and
the students should view it.
 This is a time consuming process and also the manual effort here is more.
 The notice/advertisement boards are being managed manually.
 This wastes a lot of resources like paper, print ink, man power and also
brings about loss of time.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM:
 Proposed system ‘Digital Signage Board’ overcomes the burden of the
existing system.
 To advertise things, announce events, or provide information.
 Manual effort is comparatively less and also it is time efficient system.
 ADVANTAGES:

➢ It is easy to understand.
➢ Performs same task all the time, so there is no extra usage of memory and
space takes place.
➢ Simple in nature.
➢ Hardware costs uses in embedded system costs very low.
 HARDWARE CONFIGURATION:
 It is recommended that for optimal performance, the following minimum
hardware are installed on the server on which the portal is hosted.

➢ Processor : Pentium processor, Intel Core i3 and higher

➢ RAM : 1GB and more
➢ Hard disk : 40GB and more
 SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION:
 For the proposed system to work properly, it is necessary that following
software are installed on the server/client.

➢ Frontend : HTML, CSS

➢ Middleware: PHP, JavaScript
➢ Backend : My SQL
➢ Xampp version 7.4 sever
➢ Browsers : Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and more
 FUTURE ENHANCEMENT:

➢ Updated to work on online

➢ To retrieve all the notices and articles directly through their cell phones,
laptops and computers using internet
➢ Making it available online and also sends the information to the students about
the notice through SMS & mails.
 CONCLUSION:
 The proposed system deals about the design of smart and efficient notice
board which overcomes the disadvantages of the existing notice system.
 It accepts the message, stores it, and displays it on the LED screen.
 It is an eco-friendly design which uses less man power to display important
information.
 This project gives an effective method for showing messages on Notice
Board utilizing Wireless Technology.
