Digital Signage Board

ABSTRACT:
Notice board is a surface intended for the posting of public
messages. We can see many types of notice boards in our educational institutions.
It may be to display informative news, exam schedules, time tables etc. this
traditional system is being continued for years. Here the teachers or the other staff
of the organization should prepare the content manually and the students has to
remember it by looking at it. If we consider marks as a data/notice, then it will
display all individual marks of a particular subject.
It is not possible for a person to remember these data. Or else he may
have to write it somewhere looking at the notice board. This is a time consuming
task. The proposed system helps to overcome these difficulties by making digital
signage board. Here the information’s regarding a student and also other
notifications are viewed by the students through this digital signage.

EXISTING SYSTEM:
Existing system follows the traditional notice board where, a person
should add contents to the system and the users should view it. This is a time
consuming process and also the manual effort here is more.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
Proposed system ‘Digital Signage Board’ overcomes the burden of
the existing system. Here, the students will be having a LED (or) LCD display
through which all the details regarding the students and other notifications are
known through the display. Manual effort is comparatively less and also it is time
efficient system.

Admin
➢ Add notice
➢ Delete notice
➢ Update notice
Display
➢ Display the notice updated by the admin.

Hardware configuration:
it is recommended that for optimal performance, the following
minimum hardware are installed on the server on which the portal is hosted.

➢ Processor : Pentium processor and high

➢ RAM : 1GB and more
➢ Hard disk : 40GB and more
➢ LED (or) LCD display

Software configuration:
For the proposed system to work properly, it is necessary that
following software are installed on the server/client.

➢ Frontend : HTML, CSS

➢ Middleware : PHP, Javascript
➢ Backend : My SQL
➢ Browser : Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and more
