Moon base
Have you wondered what it would be like
living on the moon?

A moon base is a facility on the Moon , enabling

human activity at the Moon. A moon base is a facility
on the surface of the Moon and is as such different
to a lunar space station in orbit around the Moon,
such as the planned Lunar Gateway of the Artemis
program.

What to eat on the moon base?
 Space chocolate
 Bacon

If a long-duration Moon base is built,

a greater variety of foods will be
provided by growing, or bringing up
in bulk, crops such as soybeans,
wheat, peanuts, beans, and rice.

What can we do on the moon?
• Flying. One of the most self-explanatory (and most
fun)
• Eating. Astronauts actually describe the food
aboard the space station as quite tasty!
• Drinking. Liquid behaves very differently in space
than it does on Earth. *drinking water in space
without gravity is dangerous, if you are not careful
you might drown

Advantages of living on the moon base
We can....

 Get an awesome view of the earth from the moon

 Use Moon as a launching pad to reach the rest of the solar
system
Moon base
Disdvantages of living on the moon base......

 Lack of environment, which means that you can't go out on

the moon without wearing a space suit.
 Space sickness
 Zero gravity has adverse affects on health

Space adaptation syndrome or space sickness is a kind of
motion sickness that can occur when one's surroundings
visually appear to be in motion, but without a corresponding
sense of bodily motion. This incongruous condition can occur
during space travel when changes in g-forces compromise one's
spatial orientation
It manifests clinically with symptoms similar to other forms of
motion sickness, such as malaise, fatigue, loss of appetite,
nausea, and vomiting, and is a part of a larger constellation of
symptoms, known as Space Adaptation Syndrome which also
includes facial stuffiness from headward shifts of fluids,
headaches
