KEEP IT LOCAL- Conventa organizers use local knowledge, partner with local
suppliers, and engage members of civil society to support the local economy and
promote local traditions and heritage.
Engaging stakeholder- Conventa encourages close collaboration with key
stakeholders in order to jointly identify sustainable issues and key performance
indicators. Conventa strives to make sustainability an integral part of trade show
management by engaging interested parties.
4R-Conventa aims to follow the 4R principles of rethink, reduce, reuse, and
recycle throughout the life cycle of sustainable event management. Conventa
makes sustainable decisions to reduce waste generation, prefer products with a
high recycled content, and reuse or donate materials from conception to planning
and implementation.
4R principle of Conventa - Rethinking, Reducing, Reusing,
and Recycling.
Conventa stand was thus made of naturally dried domestic pine wooden
crates, which were reused for the 12th time at EIBTM.
Conventa Eco Day is to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable
development in the meetings industry, to encourage meeting suppliers to
implement sustainable measures, and to showcase some green initiatives
carried out within the Conventa framework.
The Eco Village, which features suppliers of eco-friendly products and
services aimed at the meetings industry, is a new addition to this year's
Conventa. Thus, the Eco Village presents actual sustainable solutions
through which meeting professionals can add value to their products.
