LONG ADJECTIVES

Long adjectives have two or more


sylables. e. g.
Boring – interesting – important –
intelligent – popular – expensive –
useful – modern – attractive –
terrible – beautiful – confortable.
LONG ADJECTIVES
To form the comparative of long adjectives
we write the word “more” before the adjective
and to form the superlative of superiority we
write the words “the most”. e. g.

 Flor is an intelligent girl, but Kathy is more intelligent


than Flor and Karla is the most intelligent in the
classroom.

than French.

Shakira is more popular than

Sonia Morales.
Playing football is more interesting
than playing tennis.

 Fisshing is more exciting than painting.


The computer is more useful than a radio.

The Dolphin is more intelligent than the mouse


The sharpener is important in class, but the ruler is
more important than the sharpener and the pen is
the most important in the class.

Riding bicycle is a dangerous sport, but riding


motorcycle is more dangerous than riding bicycle
and boxing is the most dangerous sport.
