INTRODUCTION :

Amidst this pandemic , institutions are facing issues

related to attendance . This device comes to the rescue as
it does not require fingerprint input which can spread
infection , also it does not require the person to take off
the mask for facial recognition. In today’s world people
are facing many problems and fake identity is one of the
core problems in the whole world . As we move towards
the digital era biometric technologies become more and
more popular. Iris recognition is one of the most efficient.

SENSORS
Sensors are sophisticated devices that are
frequently used to detect and respond to
electrical or optical signals.
A Sensor converts the physical parameter
(for example: temperature, blood pressure,
humidity, speed, etc.) into a signal which
can be measured electrically.
Sensors used
 Thermal Sensor

 Proximity Sensor

 Camera Module
THERMAL SENSOR
 A Thermal sensor is a device, typically, a
thermocouple or resistance temperature
detector, that provides temperature
measurement in a readable form through an
electrical signal.
PROXIMITY SENSOR
A proximity sensor is a sensor able to
detect the presence of nearby objects
without any physical contact.
Pi-CAMERA
 The Pi camera module is a portable light weight
camera that supports Raspberry Pi. It communicates
with Pi using the MIPI camera serial interface
protocol. It is normally used in image processing,
machine learning or in surveillance projects.
