Overall, Standard Chartered bank has good CSR strategy and has financial capabilities to deploy CSR activities on big scale.
However, most of CSR activities are not resonated and opaque communication cause counterproductive effects to brand
reputations.

CSR Communication
• Standard Chartered should focus on two-way communication, CSR Standards
transparency and improve the content of CSR communication to be
more precise and focused. • Standardized CSR activities with principle base and
certificate that are more relevant to the bank’s business
Innovative CSR Initiative and commitments.

• Suggestion of initiative impact model, this would helps SCB to


enhance its competitive edge its crucial markets.
