 Arc length is the distance between

 To find the arc length of a circle,

use the formula:

 SECTOR OF A CIRCLE
 is the region bounded by two radii and
their intercepted arc

 In figure 1, the area of sector is the shaded region

 There are 2 sector of a circle. The minor and major

sector. The minor sector is the shaded region and
remaining portion is the major sector.
 To find the area of sector of a circle,
use the formula:

 A segment of a circle is the region bounded fig. 1
by an arc and its chord.

 In figure 1, the area of segment of circle

 To find the area of segment of circle,

or use the formula:
