Medicine of The Future
Medicine of The Future
Now there are many types of cancer treatment. The types of treatment
depends on the type of cancer you have and how advanced it is. Some
people with cancer will have only one treatment. But most people have a
combination of treatments, such as surgery with chemotherapy and/or
radiation therapy. You may also have immunotherapy, targeted therapy, Medicine of the future
or hormone therapy.
will invent a drug that
will kill cancer cells.
All human organs will
be preserved,
metastases will not
appear. The death toll
from cancer will be
zero.
Medical science has no way to transplant whole eyes at this time. However, when someone receives a transplant today, they
are usually having a corneal transplant. Donor corneas make this amazing, sight-saving surgery possible. It has been used for
nearly a century.
Surgeons have also been able to successfully perform eyelash transplantation. This can restore eyelashes lost due to burns,
injury and other medical conditions.
The question could be glibly dismissed. Medicine is a humanitarian profession, the argument would go. Health care
workers have a duty to care for the sick. By freely entering into the profession, they have implicitly agreed to accept the
risks.
