Al-Kawthar
(1) Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad],
al-Kawthar.

(2) So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].

(3) Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off

 ‫بسم هللا الرحمن الرحيم‬
‫الح<مد هلل رب العالمين‬
‫الصالة والسالم على رسول هللا‬
Dua to purify our intention
Only for the sake of Allaah

 Sincerity…A special ( ingredient)

 It’s presence Magnifies reward of a small deed.

 It’s absence Diminishes reward of a Huge deed.

Kawthar… The pond

  “Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise. Its banks are made of gold and its bed is of pearls and
rubies…” al-Tirmidhi
 It is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Two pipes feed into it from Paradise, one of
gold and the other of silver.” .. Sahih Muslim.
 That is a river which Allaah has given to me, in Paradise. It is whiter than milk and
sweeter than honey, and in it are birds whose necks are like the necks of camels.”
 In it can be seen vessels of gold and silver whose number is as the stars of the sky.”
According to another report, “More than the number of stars in the sky.”  Bukhari &
Muslim
Meeting at the pond…

 Abu Huraira reported:

 The Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬came to the graveyard and said: "Peace be upon you! The abode of the
believing people and we, if God so wills, are about to join you. I love to see my brothers." They (the
hearers) said: Aren't we your brothers, O Messenger of Allah? He said: You are my companions, and our
brothers are those who have, so far, not come into the world. They said: Messenger of Allah, how would
you recognise those persons of your Ummah who have not yet been born? He said: Supposing a man
had horses with white blazes on foreheads and legs among horses which were all black, tell me, would
he not recognise his own horses? They said: Certainly, O Messenger of Allah. He said: They would
come with white faces and arms and legs owing to ablution, and I would arrive at the Cistern before
them. Some people would be driven away from my Cistern as the stray camel is driven away. I would
call out: Come, come. Then it would be said (to me): These people changed themselves after you, and I
would say: Be off, be off.
 Sahih almuslim 249a

The story…. Tayyamum

 Narrated `Aisha:
 (the wife of the Prophet) We set out with Allah’s Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬on one of his journeys till we
reached Al- Baida’ or Dhatul-Jaish, a necklace of mine was broken (and lost). Allah’s Messenger (‫)ﷺ‬
stayed there to search for it, and so did the people along with him. There was no water at that place,
so the people went to Abu- Bakr As-Siddiq and said, “Don’t you see what `Aisha has done? She has
made Allah’s Apostle and the people stay where there is no water and they have no water with them.”
Abu Bakr came while Allah’s Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬was sleeping with his head on my thigh, He said, to me:
“You have detained Allah’s Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬and the people where there is no water and they have no
water with them. So he admonished me and said what Allah wished him to say and hit me on my
flank with his hand. Nothing prevented me from moving (because of pain) but the position of Allah’s
Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬on my thigh. Allah’s Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬got up when dawn broke and there was no water.
So Allah revealed the Divine Verses of Tayammum. So they all performed Tayammum. Usaid bin
Hudair said, “O the family of Abu Bakr! This is not the first blessing of yours.” Then the camel on
which I was riding was caused to move from its place and the necklace was found beneath it.
 Sahih al Bukhari 334

A beautiful dua…
Translation:

 O My Lord! Help me and do not help (others) against me, give me supremacy and do not let
them overpower me, plan in my favour and do not plan against me and guide me and make
the guidance easy for me and help me against whoever oppresses me, O my Lord! Make me
one most grateful to You, one who remembers You greatly, one who fears You greatly, one
who obeys You greatly, one who exhibits humbleness greatly, one who sighs greatly and turns
towards (You), O my Lord! Accept my repentance, wash away my sins and accept my
supplications, keep firm my proof, keep my tongue truthful, guide my heart and remove
grudges from my heart.
 ‫ میرے لیے‬،‫ مجھے غلبہ دے اور میرے اوپر غلبہ نہ دے‬، ‫اے میرے رب ! میری مدد فرما اور میرے خالف مدد نہ کر‬
‫ میری مدد کر اس‬،‫ مجھے ہدایت دے اور میرے لیے ہدایت کو آسان بنا دے‬،‫تدبیر کر اور میرے خالف تدبیر نہ کر‬
‫ بہت‬،‫ بہت ذکر کرنے واال‬، ‫کے خالف جو مجھ پر زیادتی کرے۔ اے میرے رب! مجھے اپنا بہت شکر کرنے واال‬
‫ رجوع کرنے‬،‫ اپنی طرف آہیں بھرنے واال‬،‫ اپنی طرف عاجزی کرنے واال بنا دے‬،‫ بہت اطاعت کرنے واال‬،‫ڈرنے واال‬
‫ میری دلیل کو ثابت‬، ‫ میری دعا قبول کر‬،‫اے میرے رب ! میری توبہ قبول کر اور میرے گناہ دھو ڈال‬،‫واال بنا دے‬
