NOUNS are words that show us WHO? Or


WHAT?
For example:
Look at that beautiful fish!
In this sentence FISH is a NOUN.
VERBS are words that show us ACTION.
Verbs show what we do.
For example:
Jack fishes every day.
Some words can be nouns and verbs.
For example: play
We play games everyday. (Play is a verb)
It was a great play. (Play is a noun.)
It rains a lot in autumn. It is a heavy rain.
Flowers are beautiful plants.

Children plant trees every spring.


This is a fly. It is an arthropod.

Planes fly high in the sky.


Steam is a gas.

He steams broccoli for dinner.
