prepare. We will start later this week!
Alternative styling of the same

Now you know better how to write a
CV or a cover letter and how to prepare
for an interview or Assessment centre.
So what comes next in the recruitment
process in PwC? What are the next
steps you can expect and how you can
best prepare? Watch out for more info
later this week!

PwC
Online application
At the beginning of each recruitment
process, you have to register in our system.
You will create your own profile (and fill in
basic information about your education or
language skills). You can attach your CV or
your cover letter where you can tell us more
about your motivation. Then you shall
complete 2 online tests (we will discuss
them more in the next episode of our
series).
Alternative styling of the same
message:
Get started with registration in our system.
We will learn more about you, your
education and skills when you set up your
profile there. You can attach both – CV and
cover letter explaining your motivation.
Online tests make the next step. We will tell
you more about that soon.

PwC
The online tests are an essential part of the
Online tests recruitment process. They will pop up after you
complete your application. You have to complete two
– numerical reasoning and logical reasoning tests.
Make sure you have enough time available, pen, paper
and calculator handy. Please note that you have a
limited time to answer, so if you don’t know one
answer, skip it and come back to it afterwards.

The results of these tests are an important part of your

application – your results decide whether you will be
invited to the next stage of recruitment process.

Important! Time to answer is limited.
PwC
What if you don’t know an answer? - Skip that
Phone screening After successful completion of the online tests one of our
HR colleagues will contact you to complete a phone
interview with you. The purpose of this call is to check
your availability, start date, motivation, language skills
and to discuss next steps.

One of the advantages of the phone interview is that you

can keep this list in front of you on the table during the
talk. If you have questions or want to discuss some topics,
the list will help to remember all of them.

When you don’t see a person it’s quite difficult to

understand his/her reaction on your words. That’s why
you need to pay attention to small clues: uncertain “yes”
– may be your answer is not fully clear; too long silence –
it’s time to stop with this answer and give interviewer
chance to ask next question; side activity (for example,
taping at a computer keyboard) - don’t be embarrassed,
the interviewer is noting the most important thing not to
miss anything. Listen carefully and react accordingly.

Alternative styling of the same message:

When you have completed the online tests successfully,
one of us in HR will give you a call and make a short
interview with you.
What more do we want to know? Your availability, start
PwC date, motivation, language skills and we also want to
discuss what comes next for you.
Assessment centre Assessment centre is all-day event that consists of
several individual and group tasks. The main purpose
is to meet with the candidates in person, to see them
how they react in a group and to interact with them. It
is a great chance for you to show us your skills in
practice. Enjoy the day, it is a great experience.
Be prepared that you will complete several paper tests.
Then you will solve 2 group tasks with other
candidates for the position. Make sure you handle
them as future colleagues, with respect.
Alternative styling of the same message:
So we will finally meet! Assessment centre is an all-
day event consisting of several individual and group
tasks. We want to meet you and also see how you
interact with a group. Great chance for you to show
your skills in practice! Enjoy the day - it is a great
experience.
And what about the tasks? Be ready for a few paper
tests and 2 group tasks with other candidates for the
same position.
Advice? Handling them with respect as your future
PwC
colleagues, definitely helps.
Personal interview Personal interview makes an individual or part of
the assessment centre. In most cases, you will meet
us from HR and manager from the department you
applied for. You will discuss your CV, your
experience, education etc. We may also ask you to
solve a case study or a typical task that you will
handle once you start working in the team. Do not
panic if you do not know all the answers – your
approach towards a question is as important.
Make sure you prepare yourself well – search the
internet and find as much as possible about the
position, team and company. You can browse
through the company website, through LinkedIn or
come across blogs and online discussions.
Alternative styling of the same message:
Whether in assessment centre or subsequently after
that we want to learn more about you in a face-to-
face interview and introduce you to someone from
the department you have applied for.
What more about me? Usually details from your
CV, your experience, education etc. We might ask
you to solve a case study or a typical task that you
PwC would handle once you start working in the team.
Receiving an offer After passing all steps of the process successfully, you
will receive a job offer. Make sure you understand
everything and all information is correct. Do not be
afraid to ask – this is the time to discuss things! Do
not be afraid to take time to think about the offer but
make sure you give your answer in a timely manner.
We hope you enjoyed our series about the recruitment
process in PwC and we look forward to receiving your
application!
Alternative styling of the same message:
And finally - after passing all steps of the process
successfully - you will receive a job offer! This is a
pleasant meeting. You shall pay attention to details
however, making sure all the information there is
correct. Take your time to think about the offer but
make sure you come back with your answer timely
and prove yourself reliable.
We look forward to seeing your application and taking
you through the process to this final stage!
