Malacca but have no definite
proof. Magellan said Enrique
was a captured slaves.
IV. Group Conclusion
Therefore, we have come up to a conclusion that Juan Sebastian
Elcano was the first man to circumnavigate the Globe and not
Ferdinand Magellan often credited as being the first person to
have circumnavigated the globe nor Enrique of Malacca. The
arguments we have stated with the evidentiary support from
primary sources shows that Elcano should be credited as the first
man to circle the globe since he was the one who continued
Magellan's expedition after he died en route, during a skirmish in
the Philippines on April 27, 1521.
 Thus, Elcano was the only person with documented
proof that he brought the ship Victoria which landed on
September 6, 1522 with only 18 of Magellan's men
remaining(241 was the original number), he was then
recognized by Charles I with annual pension and coat
of arms with a globe with the inscription, “Primus
Circumdidsti me” meaning "to the first to navigate me."
