Tasks – topics assigned

 Task assigned to us was to plan a Marketing Strategy on the production of Masks/


Jewellery and Cloth Bags.

 Our main objective was to plan a Marketing Strategy on the production of Masks,
Jewellery and Cloth Bags, so that the reach of this product should increase and the
accessibility of this product in the common market should also increase so that the
underprivileged rural women who makes this products should get the benefits.

Research - findings
 We have explored the social media marketing option. we believe that this can be one of the best ways
to promote the products which are made in our NGO. Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, twitter and
there are a couple of more platforms that can help us in bringing the products to the audience.

 We can make use of the website which will be a source to disseminate information, increase visibility,
and process orders. The website will be submitted to various search engines so people that are not
even looking specifically Design will come across the site.

 We can create an Instagram page of our jewellery and advertise and sell our product there.

 We can collaborate with some social media models and ask them to be the face for our jewellery and
give us a shoutout on their pages to increase our customer base.

Research - findings
 We can collaborate with local vendors and give them some commissions on the jewellery’s they
sell by doing so we can create some demands of our jewellery .

 Another source of marketing will be networking and promotion through the network of
art/jewellery galleries i.e., we will be attending seminars and art galleries for promotion and even
do partnerships with small vendors to increase sales.

 We will be putting stalls at the various art shows and festivals throughout the country. This form
of marketing/promotion is an efficient way to reach target customers as well as generate sales at
these events.

Research - findings
 We can collaborate with Dmarts of our area and can sell our products in Dmart. It will
surely increase our sales.

 We can collaborate with women's living in chawls to sell our products in their
localities by providing them the source of some extra income for their family.

 We can also explore the local shops and can get potential future partnerships that can
be helpful for the Light of Life Trust.

 We can also sell our Products on Amazon .

Research - findings
 We can sell through WhatsApp by taking help of some women's and can market that to
increase our customer base.

 We can take part in many fests that take place all over Mumbai and promote our products
there.

 We can collaborate with schools and colleges and put our stalls in schools and colleges
events.

 We can collaborate with the local shops and can give them some margin so that they
promote and sell our product in their shops.

Conclusion
Our recommendations

We can collaborate with schools and colleges and put our stalls in schools and colleges events

• There are certain number of colleges that are looking to increase their activity towards NGO
programme. We can benefit from that and Promote and increase the sales of hand bags as well
as jewelleries.

• College Fests are the best way to get attention. Ramp walk with our Jewelleries and handbags
can cause to increase in sales.

• We can tie up with the local jewellery shop and provide them with the commissions
accordingly.

• We can collaborate with Dmart’s and sell our products there.
