QUALIFICATION OF JUDGES

pleader and recommended by the HC for appointment-Art 233
The provisions related to subordinate courts are provided in the
6th part of the Indian Constitution.

Articles 233-237 deal with the subordinate courts.


CONTROL OVER SUBORDINATE COURTS

*The HC have supervisory and appellate jurisdiction over the


subordinate courts.

*The HC can withdraw a case pending before any subordinate


court,if it involves the substantial question of law.

Chief Judicial Magistrate-can give imprisonment upto 7 yrs or fine.
