HUMAN RESOURCES
They refer to the knowledge, skill, efficiency, physical and mental capacity of
people to work.
Development of a country depends on quality of human resources.
Human resources can also be defined as manpower or labour.
They utilize natural resources for production and development.
TYPES OF HUMAN RESOURCES
1. Un-skilled human resources :- They are the human resources having no specific knowledge, skills and
efficiency but having simple experience of work. They generally earn low wages. For eg : Labourers, sanitation
workers, domestic workers, construction workers, etc.
2. Semi-skilled human resources :- They are the human resources having simple knowledge, skill,
efficiency and experience of work. They earn medium wages. For eg : Mason, carpenters, plumbers, assistant
managers, etc.
3. Skilled human resources :- They are the human resources having specific knowledge, skills, efficiency
and experience of work. They generally earn high wages. For eg : Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Pilots, Teachers,
etc.

It is the production of efficient human resources of different varieties for production and
overall development of the country.
