HUMAN RESOURCES

 They refer to the knowledge, skill, efficiency, physical and mental capacity of
people to work.
 Development of a country depends on quality of human resources.
 Human resources can also be defined as manpower or labour.
 They utilize natural resources for production and development.
TYPES OF HUMAN RESOURCES

1. Un-skilled human resources :- They are the human resources having no specific knowledge, skills and
efficiency but having simple experience of work. They generally earn low wages. For eg : Labourers, sanitation
workers, domestic workers, construction workers, etc.

2. Semi-skilled human resources :- They are the human resources having simple knowledge, skill,
efficiency and experience of work. They earn medium wages. For eg : Mason, carpenters, plumbers, assistant
managers, etc.

3. Skilled human resources :- They are the human resources having specific knowledge, skills, efficiency
and experience of work. They generally earn high wages. For eg : Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Pilots, Teachers,
etc.

It is the production of efficient human resources of different varieties for production and
overall development of the country.
