• Avionics is Aviation Electronics
• Avionics are the electronic systems used on aircraft, artificial satellites, and spacecraft. Avionic systems include communications, navigation, the display and management of multiple systems, and the hundreds of systems that are fitted to aircraft to perform individual functions. AVIONICS • The components of Avionics are Navigation, Communication and Surveillance. • Navigation is the field of study that focuses on the process of monitoring and controlling the movement of a craft or vehicle from one place to another. • Communication is the art of conveying meanings from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs, symbols and semiotic rules. • Surveillance is the process of monitoring the behavior for the purpose of managing or directing.
