 What is an I-PAD
The I-Pad is a tablet computer designed and
developed by Apple.
Meant for internet
browsing, media
consumption, light
contents and gaming.
Released in April 2010.
Device between a smart phone and laptop

cellular network—to browse the internet,
load and stream media, and install software.

Screen and Input
The touch screen is a 25-cm liquid crystal display
(1024 x 768 pixels) with fingerprint resistant and
scratch-resistant glass.

The display responds to two other sensors: an

ambient light sensor to adjust screen brightness
and a 3-axis accelerometer to sense I-Pad
orientation and switch between portrait and
landscape mode
Audio and Output
Dual speakers inside the I-Pad provide sound.
speaker directs sound outwards toward the three
audio ports carved into the bottom-right of the
unit.

The I-Pad supports normal headphones and ones

with a microphone and/or volume controls.

The user can easily maximize the volume level

The I-Pad uses an internal rechargeable lithium-
ion polymer battery.

I-Pad's battery can provide up to 10 hours of

video, 140 hours of audio playback, or up to one
month on standby.

internal storage size: 16, 32, or 64 GB.

All data is stored on the flash drive and there

is no option to expand storage
