action of buying products or
services over the Internet. It
means going online, landing on a
seller’s website, selecting
something, and arranging for its
delivery. The buyer either pays for
the good or service online with a
credit or debit card or upon
delivery.
Benefits of online shopping
• Convenience. The convenience is the biggest
perk. Where else can you comfortably shop at midnight
while in your pajamas? There are no lines to wait in or
shop assistants to wait on to help you with your
purchases, and you can do your shopping in minutes.
Online shops give us the opportunity to shop 24/7, and
also reward us with a ‘no pollution’ shopping experience

• Price comparisons. Comparing and researching

products and their prices is so much easier online. Also, we
have the ability to share information and reviews with other
shoppers who have firsthand experience with a product or
retailer.

• No need to travel. People don't usually like to move

a lot to get what they want. Of course, nothing can compete
with experience of going to a cloth boutique and buying what
you want, but normally people just don't want to travel.
