 Introduction

• Toba Tek Singh is a district of Faisalabad Division in the Punjab province of Pakistan.
• Toba Tek Singh was notified as district with effect from 1st July, 1982 after slicing the area
comprising this district from Faisalabad as T.T. Singh was its sub-division. It derives its
name from the headquarters town named Toba Tek Singh.
 Administration
The district of Toba Tek Singh is administratively subdivided into four tehsils and 82 Union
Council.

Administrative Setup

• The Municipal Committee is a body corporate and consists of the

Chief Officer, 5 Municipal Officers and other officials of the
Local Council Service and officials of the offices entrusted to the
Municipal Committee.
• Administrator is the head of Municipal Committee and exercises
all functions and powers as have been assigned to him under the
Ordinance. All building regulations and change in polices are
addressed by municipal officers.
• Rules and Provisions will be utilized by respective TMAs.
Suggestions
• In my opinion it become difficult for us to make master plan of Toba Tec Singh.
• So, it is not recommended to make master plan of Toba Tec Singh because there are no proper
sources available for surveys.
• Far away from Lahore. 219Km from Lahore.
• Lack of facilities in the the area like residence or transport etc
